Presentation title: Carbon Market Developments: Are EU ETS and MSR working?

After receiving university degrees in Electrical Engineering and Finance, Mr Bandelj joined a Central European electricity utility where he helped in setting up a European power trading desk. After serving as head of the market analysis division responsible for portfolio and risk management and obtaining a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mr Bandelj left in 2008 to establish Belektron, a well-established trading company with its main focus on carbon emission allowances.

During recent years Mr Bandelj led Belektron and developed it into one of the largest independent global carbon trading firms with over 300 million tonnes of carbon allowances traded yearly and a worldwide business partners and trading counterparty base.
